(This policy does not apply to high-demand dates such as bookings made during the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. See below for CBMF cancellation policy).
Cancellation policy:
Aside from a $34.50 fee ($30 plus tax), you can cancel and receive a full refund until 14 days before your arrival.
If you cancel/modify your reservation within 14 days of arrival, the cancellation fee will be dependent on how many room nights you are cancelling:
If you don't show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the reservation total.
Please be advised, refunds may take up to 12 days to be returned. The refund is processed as quickly as possible on our end, but the credit card companies seem to take a bit of time.
Initial deposit - At the time of booking, we collect 50% of the reservation amount.
Finalizing pay - 14 days before your arrival date, we collect the remaining 50% of the reservation total.
Note: For bookings made within 14 days of the arrival date, we collect 100% of the booking total.
Check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:30 AM
If arriving outside of check-in time, please call or message to make arrangements. We may end up giving you directions on how to enter by yourself.
Breakfast is not served on Sundays. The price is reduced so you can get a comparable breakfast somewhere else. *Coffee and tea is still available as usual.
Also, we don't do check-ins on Sunday. We sincerely hope this is not an inconvenience to anyone. However, it gives the innkeeper a chance to take some rest during the busy season. We want to be fully energized to serve our guests the other six days of the week!
-Quiet hours are between 11 PM and 8 AM.
-Parties/events are not allowed.
-Pets are not allowed, with the exception of licensed service animals.
-Smoking is not allowed in any room, however, guests may smoke tobacco on the deck or in the yard. We ask that any cigarette butts be put out in the provided ash tray on the deck.
CAVENDISH BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL (CBMF) 2024 Payment and Refund POLICY
- No deposit refunds. At the time you make your booking, you will have to pay 50% of the booking total. This will not be refunded in the event that you cancel your reservation.
- The total reservation amount must be paid in full by June 1, 2025 or your booking will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund of your deposit.
- People are often surprised when they don't get a full refund when cancelling their reservation. We often hear something like this, "We're basically just giving you money for nothing in return." But actually, that's not accurate. When you make a booking, the room becomes unavailable to the hundreds of site visitors we get each month. You are resting at home, assured that when you arrive here your room will be waiting for you. When people make a booking 6 months prior to their arrival and then cancel it three weeks prior to their arrival, they have been blocking the room to the public for months. In the bed and breakfast business, it is unlikely the room will be booked again with such a short notice.
